Peloo is operated by GaoTianShu, a natural person. Peloo is a sticky-note canvas: you can capture ideas as text, voice, photos, and video, and use AI to analyze, comment on, and automatically classify them.
This policy explains what we process for that service and how you can control it. The service is not directed to children under 14.
When you add or edit a sticky note, the model does not see only that note. To read it in context, we also send text from other notes on the same canvas, the canvas's compressed memory (such as names, promises, dates, open questions, and relationships you have recorded), earlier commentary, the names you gave your areas (each name is also what the AI files notes by), the commentary voice you chose, and any clarification you typed. Free and Plus send the same kinds of information; Plus only allows a longer stretch of context at once.
When you tap Inspiration, that is a new request you start, not an edit of a sticky note. We send the text of the selected sticky note and the text of some candidate sticky notes. Drawn areas, links you made, and earlier analysis are used only to choose those candidates; we do not send the polygons, link reasons, or the full analysis as extra payload.
Canvas Inspiration: after a number of notes on a canvas have changed, or once a day, the service generates Inspiration for that canvas in the background; you can also request it on the canvas. This sends the text of some of the canvas's most recently updated notes, without memory, commentary voice, or photos.
Memory upkeep: when a canvas holds more than the model can read at once, the service sends older note text together with the canvas's existing memory to the model in the background and condenses it into a shorter canvas memory.
When you upload a photo, the image itself is sent at that moment for text recognition and a short description, along with the note you are writing. Later analysis and commentary read the text on the canvas, including the text and description recognized from the photo at upload; they do not look at that photo again. Video is compressed on your device and then uploaded and stored. We do not currently send video frames for visual understanding.
Voice you choose to record is sent for transcription. Automatic area classification sends only the area name and note text, without memory or commentary voice. Tutorial notes are not sent for note analysis, commentary, memory upkeep, or area classification.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use your sticky notes, recordings, or media for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data needed for a feature you use is sent to the processors configured for this region. The current list is below.
The iOS app offers Sign in with Apple; where the web version offers Google sign-in, you can also sign in with Google. Plus can currently be purchased only in the iOS app through the Apple App Store, and Apple handles the payment; purchases are not yet open on the web.
